Is Develop Nepal free to use?
Yes, Develop Nepal is completely free for all citizens. Local leaders also use the platform free of charge to serve their communities better.
Who can use this platform?
Anyone living in Nepal can use Develop Nepal. Citizens can report issues, and verified local leaders (ward members, municipality officials) can respond to and manage these reports.
Is my personal information safe?
Yes, we take privacy seriously. Your personal information is encrypted and never shared with third parties. Your name and photo are visible on issues you report, but your email and phone number remain private.
Reporting Issues
How do I report an issue?
Click on "Report Issue" in the navigation menu. Fill in the title, select your district and ward, add a description, upload photos, and optionally provide an estimated budget. Then click "Submit" to post your issue.
What types of issues can I report?
You can report various infrastructure and community issues including: road damage, broken streetlights, garbage dumping, water supply problems, drainage issues, public toilet conditions, damaged bridges, and other local development concerns.
Do I need to include photos?
While photos are not mandatory, they are highly recommended. Clear photos help leaders understand the severity of the issue and verify its authenticity. Issues with photos typically get faster responses.

Urgency levels help prioritize issues:
High: Immediate danger or critical infrastructure (collapsed bridge, major road blockage)
Medium: Significant inconvenience but not dangerous (broken streetlights in busy area)
Low: Minor issues or aesthetic problems (graffiti, small potholes)
